Which solutions? For which users?
To get off to a good start, we work together to identify the different user types and their needs.
With the Kocliko team, we identify the main needs for each user type: managers of energy optimisation and managers of cost individualisation on one side, tenants on the other. We think through the corresponding user journeys. We also analyse the existing solutions that address similar needs and journeys, to draw best practices and sources of inspiration from them.
Two co-designed interfaces
We co-design the interface for the building managers and the one for the tenants.
We formalise the user journeys. The solution’s information architecture forms the basis for the co-design work.
In the workshop, we identify the pages to design for both interfaces. So together we draft the list of features per page. Final step of the workshop: we map out this information on paper through sketches: that’s the co-sketching phase.
During two UX design sprints, we structure the information through the wireframes.
To validate our hypotheses, we run short remote user tests with building managers and tenants. The wireframes are consolidated following the user feedback and the iteration with Kocliko.
Art direction / UI design
It's time to transform our wireframes!
A study of the competition and new interface trends is carried out to define a clear, suitable art direction. The aim is to design something that helps users quickly get to grips with it for regular use.
Our designers designed the interface so it feels “cosy” and calming, supporting the journey. The graphic elements, the buttons, the navigation, the typography… everything is designed to maximise the user experience.
High-quality engagement and a great deal of professionalism from the contacts.
