Defining the new visual identity
Anchoring a long-standing craft in the present
The visual-identity redesign aims to keep the DNA of the old logo, which carries the company’s history, craft and strong values, while anchoring it in the present. We reuse the company’s “D” and the set square from the old logo. These two elements serve as the basis for creating the new symbol. A clearer, more modern logo that works across many media (which wasn’t the case with the previous one). And if you want to learn more about the process of creating a logo, feel free to read our blog article on the subject!
Art direction and design of the showcase site
A modern portal to reveal this new identity
The site has been built around this new identity, putting the emphasis on the visuals and following a narrative thread that tells the story (past, present and future) of Les Ateliers Duphil. Users learn more about the company, discover the work processes and the teams behind the projects. With the end goal of making it easier to get in touch to bring a project to life (whether for individuals or for businesses).
Mobile UI design
A platform designed responsively from the outset
The website was designed for desktop and mobile from the outset.
The components are then designed in both formats to speed up production and ensure consistency.
The visual identity is thought through to adapt to mobile from the start. The new logo is more legible, visuals are foregrounded. The design is simple and clean and expresses the brand.
